The early church created the office of Deacon to make sure that the needy were not neglected amongst the church body (Acts 6).

As deacons, our hearts go out to those in need and distress: those who have suffered loss (loss of life, health, income, and connection). We minister to the everyday needs of people within the church body and seek to include volunteers from within the body in this ministry. We do this in a number of practical ways, including: meals, visitations, and budget counseling. If you would like to help us in providing practical helps, please contact us and let us know if you can help with meals, driving, or other practical skills.
